3 Days Private Sailing Cruise from Kavala, to Thassos and Samothraki
Our 3 Days cruise starts from the beautiful Port of Kavala, a city built amphitheatrical with a magnificent view of the sea. (or alternatively from the port of Keramoti or Limenas in Thassos)
After filling the boat with the necessary provisions, food and drinks, we are ready to sail to Thassos and Samothraki.
On our way to Thassos we will have the pleasure to enjoy the endless blue sea and if we are lucky, we will meet dolphins that will follow and play near our sailing boat. A beautiful sight that you should not miss.

Going sailing definitely is very different to when you go on holidays ashore, a mix of adventure, luxury, tranquility and excitement which can appeal to one and all!
Sailing trips are different to any other type of holiday for a number of reasons, one of the most important ones is lack of limitless space on board! The other one is that while sailing, you may end up sweating during the daytime, but feel chilly when night falls. With this in mind we present the ideal packing list for your sailing holiday so you will enjoy every moment on board and get the most out of your yachting adventure with Aegean Sea Cruises!
Essentials: Start planning your packing by selecting the right luggage! When you come on board don’t pack excessively. A duffle bag or even a back pack should be more than enough for a week’s sailing. Any hard-cased suitcase is difficult for your skipper to bring it on board and will fill up space in your cabin that you wish you had available for yourself!
For both men & women the necessary clothing you should consider bringing is:
Ladies particulars: A couple of strap tops, few vest tops, and 5-6 t-shirts will be enough for a week. A pair of denim shorts, a couple of dresses for a night-out and underwear will be the utmost essentials for a lady on a yacht! Sandals since you’re sailing Greece are also a must!
Men particulars: Guys, this is mostly so you don’t forget the important stuff! So, a couple of jeans or linen trousers along with a couple of shirts will be enough for looking like a yachtie when ashore! Apart from swimsuits, flip-flops, jacket and sunnies, a pair of closed shoes will be fine for when you’re about to go for a stroll & don’t forget your undies & a belt!

On our way to Thassos we will have the pleasure of enjoying the vast blue of the sea and if we are lucky, we will meet dolphins that will follow and play near our sailboat. A beautiful sight that you should not miss.
Next stop is the beach of Pachis and after we raise our anchor we sail passing by Rachoni and the next beautiful place is Maries. Here we will anchor and during our free time for swimming and diving, the captain will give you all the information and will help you cook and enjoy your first meal on the boat.
After that, you will be able to enjoy some free time in which you can try your luck with fishing. (additional charge for equipments)
On our way to Limenaria where we will spend the night we will visit wonderful places such as Tripiti beach and Kefalas with the wonderful small caves.
When we arrive at the port and tie up the boat we will go for dinner at a local tavern and later free time for a drink.
Our second day of sailing starts from the port of Limenaria, we pass by wonderful places such as Metallia beach, Potos village and the beautiful beach of Rosogremos and Salonikios and we are ready to sail for the famous island of Samothrace.
On our way to Samothrace we will have time to enjoy the sailing route and for those who want to fish in the open sea, and if you are lucky, some fresh fish for lunch will be the reward for your effort.
In the afternoon we will enter the port of Kamariotissa and find a safe place to tie up the boat for the first night. We will have dinner and later free time to stroll through the nightclubs and bars of Kamariotissa.
We will wake up early in the morning and start our journey to Thassos and then to Kavala. The duration is about 7-8 hours.
We will spend some time swimming in beautiful places or visit Paleopolis, we will also sail near the Castle, (always depending on the weather) where the Sanctuary of the Great Gods is located.
The third day of sailing from Samothrace to Thassos will give us the opportunity to enjoy the wild sea listening only to the sound of the boat speeding through the dark blue waters of the North Aegean Sea
Arrival for lunch if we have time in Limenaria and immediately after via Maries we will return to the port of Keramoti or Kavala to complete your wonderful vacations!
